Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (105g) oats
- 1/2 cup (150g) mashed bananas (ripe)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- A pinch of salt (optional)
- Optional Mix-ins (up to 1/4 cup total):
- Chocolate chips
- Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)
- Cinnamon or nutmeg for extra flavor
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine oats, mashed bananas, and honey. Stir until fully mixed.
- Add vanilla extract, salt, and any mix-ins (chocolate chips, nuts, spices). Gently fold them in.
- Drop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Shape them slightly since they won’t spread much.
- Bake for 13-16 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cookies cool for 15 minutes on the baking sheet before serving.
